How to join NIantic Rotary
There is no one way to join Rotary. Some people jump right in with a membership application and some like to attend a couple meetings first.
What is your Why?
Is this for personal satisfaction, or business advantages? To show your kids how important it is to help the less fortunate, or show your business contacts that you are serious and accomplished? You can have both worlds. If you would like your business to sponsor a corporate/business membership so you and your coworkers can participate, ask us how! We have many club members who started out in a local business, and grew up and out into the community to return the favor.
We welcome you at your own pace!
It is recommended to attend a meeting or two, so you can meet fellow members and we can meet you. Every meeting includes an opportunity to share so we get to know each other and catch up with one another.
We meet every Wednesday from 12:00 to 1:30. Can't make it every week, can't make it in the middle of the day. No worries, we've got you covered. We publish The Scallop every week to update membership on Club happenings, as well as this website and the Rotary Club of Niantic Facebook page. Some of our projects and socials happen on evening weekdays or weekends. You can still make a difference, stay in touch, and participate as your schedule allows.
After your first visit, someone will reach out to see what questions you have and ensure you are invited to all future meetings through our weekly emails.
Once you are ready, let us know! We'll ask you to fill out a membership application, and will schedule a fireside chat with you and other members so we can get to know each other better.
It won't take long for you to effect action. Your very first membership dues payment will be put to work to support not only your local club and community, but Rotary International projects, as well.
